About
Gordon Hair founded the Ben Hair - Just Swim For Life Foundation through a partnership with the Jefferson Swim League in 2010 following his son's death in 2009. Since then, Hair has made it his goal to teach 50,000 Central Virginia children how to swim by 2016. In recognition of his services to the community, Hair was named as one of the Daily Progress Distinguished Dozen in 2011.[1]
