Gail Jones

Gail Burton Jones was Charlottesville's first female, African-American, Mail Carrier. She is depicted in one of painter Frances Brand's "Firsts" collection. In recent years, she has operated as president of the Charlottesville branch of the National Association of Mail Carriers since 2011.[1]
