Frederick H. Quarles

Frederick H. Quarles was a prominent businessman in the 1930's. In 1933, he was a member of the Retail Merchants Association. [1]

Biography

Quarles married Ada Dean Payne on December 23, 1902. [2] At the time he was bookkeeper of the Charlottesville Hardware Company and also taught classes at night at Southern Business College.

He presented his thoughts on traffic enforcement to City Council in 1929. [3]
