- 1963 – Randy Jones is born in Richmond to Elizabeth C. Coleman and Roland D. Jones. An avid sports fan, Jones spent much of his time in Charlottesville, working merchandise inventory at the local McDonald's as well as holding a job at Mel's Cafe.
