Edward D. Miller is a former member of the UVA Board of Visitors, who served on the Board from 2012-2015.[1]

Resignation

Miller's term on the Board of Visitors was only 3 years, rather than the traditional 4 years, owing to his early resignation in April, 2015.[2] Miller cited conflicts with board leadership as the main reason for his early departure, as well as rising tuition costs and declines in research funding.[2][3] Mark T. Bowles was appointed as his replacement in the wake of his resignation.[4]
