Don Franco is a real estate developer who served on the Albemarle County Planning Commission. His term expired at the end of 2013.
Franco was first appointed to the Commission by Supervisor David Slutzky (D-Rio) on March 4, 2009 to complete the term of Jon Cannon, who resigned to pursue appointment as Deputy Commissioner of the Environmental Protection Agency in the Obama Administration.
Franco was reappointed to the Commission in January 2010.
