Development Company of Charlottesville

Development Company of Charlottesville was a development company formed in 1890 in Charlottesville, encouraged by the establishment of the Charlottesville and University Street Railway in 1887. [1]

The initial president was Robert Poore Valentine and the initial area to be developed was to the east of Charlottesvile. [2]
