David J. Wood Jr. succeeded Gus K. Tebell on the Charlottesville-Albemarle Joint Airport Commission. [1]
Wood was also a member of the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority's Board of Directors in 1958. [2]

Biography
Wood was a fighter pilot for the U.S. Navy in World War II. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law.
