Charlottesville Young Professionals, or CYP, is a networking group whose aim is to attract "young, active, civic-minded professionals who have a clear vision of Charlottesville's future as a great place to live, work, and play[1]." It was founded in 1999, and although the word "Young" is in the title, there is no age limitation for its members.
A volunteer board leads the organization, and their events are loosely organized around improving Charlottesville.
