Charlottesville West End Land Company

Charlottesville West End Land Company was a development company formed in 1890 in Charlottesville, encouraged by the establishment of the Charlottesville and University Street Railway in 1887. [1]

The initial president was Charles H. Harman.

The initial area for development was an area north of the University of Virginia known as Preston Heights. [2]
