The Charlottesville Tom Sox is a Valley Baseball League team that began play in 2015. Their first game was on Friday, June 5, 2015 against New Market. The home field is Charlottesville High School which is underwent renovations for that purpose. [1]
The color scheme for uniforms is blue, green and gray. [2]

Other possible names for the team included the Presidents, the Vines, and the Sabres before Tom Sox was chosen in November 2014. [2]
Inaugural season
The Tom Sox finished in fifth place in the Valley League South division with an 18-24 record. [4]
