The two-year term of the Charlottesville City Council (1932-1934) ran from September 1, 1932 to August 31, 1934. The three other members of the commission whose terms expired this year were Jury Y. Brown, E. A. Joachim and Fred L. Watson. The 1932 election resulted in three new members to the council (referred to as "Commissioners") as Shelton S. Fife, George T. Huff and Samuel A. Jessup. The two members whose terms did not expire this year were: W. Dan Haden and F. W. Twyman.
