Charlottesville City Council, 1946-2007 was the legislative body of Charlottesville, Virginia under the 1946 Charter of the city, approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly, which held elections in June. The first city council under this 1946 Charter took office on September 1, 1946.
