Charlottesville Area Development Roundtable is part of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce. The group had formed independently but opted to align with the Chamber in January 2017. [1]

Formation
The group formed in 2016 after a roundtable was held between officials with the city's Neighborhood Development Services and members of the development community. [2]
Continued advocacy
In early 2020, CADRE sought to increase its influence with a meeting with three new city councilors [3]
