Carl Schwarz is an architect in private practice who lives in the 10th and Page neighborhood. He moved to Charlottesville in 2005 to attend the UVA School of Architecture.
Schwarz is the vice chair of the Charlottesville Planning Commission. [citation needed] He served two terms on the Board of Architectural Review from 2014 to the end of 2021.
He served for two terms on the a former member of the Charlottesville Board of Architectural Review, serving in one of the slots reserved for licensed architects until the end of 2021
Schwarz will join the Charlottesville Planning Commission on September 1, 2022. [1]
