The Broadway Blueprint is a $50,000 economic development planning exercise for 45-acres of land-locked property in Albemarle County by the Albemarle County Economic Development Office. The work is spurred by the county's investment in the Woolen Mills redevelopment.

Nearby infrastructure
All transportation routes into the area come through the city of Charlottesville. Efforts are underway to build a roughly quarter-mile sidewalk on Franklin Street using Community Development Block Grant funding.
