Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia
The Boys and Girls Club of Central Virginia is an organization that provides young people with programs to help them address issues facing today's youth. They have multiple facilities in the community with one at Buford Middle School and another in the Lambs Lane Campus in Albemarle County.

Albemarle facility
A 35,000 square foot facility near Jack Jouett Middle School and Greer Elementary School. was designed by the firm Grimm and Parker. The club leases the land at $1 a year for forty years. The new facility is supposed to be open in 2021. Major donors include Merrill and Jaffray Woodriff. [1]
Charlottesville facility
The Boys and Girls Club began operating programs at Smith Pool beginning in 2003. A lease for the facility was approved on August 4, 2003. [2] [3]
