Bill Letteri
Bill Letteri is the finance director for Albemarle County. [1]
He had previously served as Albemarle County's deputy county executive. That had been a promotion from assistant county executive for financial and management services, an appointment made on January 5, 2011.
Letteri announced his retirement in late January. He will retire on August 1. [2] He will be succeeded by Nelsie Birch. [3]

Biography
Previously, Letteri served as the county's first director of facilities development, a position he held since 2007. Before that, he served as director of public works in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Prior to that, he worked as the chief of facilities and administration for Charlottesville from 1992 to 2004. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance and Administration from James Madison University.
Supervisors passed a resolution honoring Letteri at its meeting on July 15, 2020. [4]
