Barracks West is a redeveloped condominium complex in Albemarle County owned by developer Hunter Craig.

Background
In the mid-2000's[when?], Craig used a company called Cheetah Investment Company to purchase the Old Salem apartment complex at the price of $31 million. Craig sought to redevelop it into condominiums. [1]
Bats
In the summer of 2015, several residents complained that parts of the complex are infested with bats. [2]
