The Arganica Farm Club was a company that matched low-volume organic farmers with customers throughout the mid-Atlantic region. On September 13, 2011, the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals ruled 4-0 that the company violated the county's zoning ordinance by operating a warehouse facility in the rural area. [1] Dominique Kostelac, Arganica's owner, appealed the ruling in court and moved most of the operations to Greene County pending the resolution. [2]

The company was purchased by Relay Foods in August 2012. |title=Relay Foods acquires Arganica|url=https://dailyprogress.com/business/relay-foods-acquires-arganica/article_dcc9dddc-48ef-53eb-9233-d2a9f6b8481b.html%7Cauthor=Nate Deseline III|pageno=|printdate=August 28, 2012|publishdate=August 28, 2012|accessdate=July 3, 2021}}</ref>
