Allison L. Spillman was a elected to the at-large seat on the Albemarle County School Board in the 2023 election.[1]
She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and a former small-business owner who currently is a board member for Reclaimed Hope, a nonprofit organization that provides support for families navigating foster care and adoption.[2] Spillman and her husband have five children, all of whom are enrolled in Albemarle County Public Schools.[3] Spillman has been endorsed by the Albemarle County Democratic Party[4] and the Albemarle Education Association,[5] and she has received the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction.[6]
Spillman was named as the vice chair of the Board on January 8, 2026. [7]
