The Albemarle-Charlottesville Human Resource Association (ACHRA) is the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)[1].
ACHRA's mission is "to serve as a recognized resource and provide leadership to its membership and the business community through sharing and promoting best practices in human resource management."[1] For their members, they offer education, job listings, and courses to prepare for HR certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute[2].
