900‐1000 South First Street is located near the intersection of South First Street and Hartman's Mill Road. A proposed 63-unit apartment development, 1st Street South Apartments, Phase 1, is being planned by the Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) for this site the goal of breaking ground on this project in December 2019.
