200 McIntire Road was an address located in Charlottesville across from the old Lane High School. (Lane HS was converted for use by the Albemarle County Office Building in 1981).
Formally the site of the Lafayette Apartments (The 1964 Hill's Charlottesville (Virginia) city directory listed the apartment as "La Fayette"). In 1964 a 1-bedroom apartment, unfurnished, rented for $100 per month. (Adjusted for inflation, $100.00 in 1964 is equal to $813.05 in 2019.)[1]
A 1-bedroom apartment at 500 McIntire Road is currently (April 2019) renting for $1259 per month.[2]
