The Scottsville Museum is decicated to capturing and preserving the history of life in southern Albemarle County and the role that Scottsville has played from the middle of the 18th century until the present day. The museum is located inside the former Disciples of Christ Church[1]. Virginia Moore once served as president of the museum foundation's board.

The museum is open from April to October and admission is free.
