William H. Goodwin, Jr. is a Senior Adviser to the University of Virginia Board of Visitors.

About

William Goodwin graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in mechanical engineering and received his MBA from the Darden School of Business in 1966. After his graduation he joined IBM, but left to start his own company, Commonwealth Computer Advisors in 1971.[1] In addition, Goodwin is a former member of the BoV. On June 29, 2012, Goodwin was appointed Senior Advisor by Governor Bob McDonnell along with Leonard Sandridge, following the failed ouster of Teresa Sullivan.[2]
