Now they're citing conversations? -- B.S. Lawrence 13:21, 26 January 2012 (EST)

In all seriousness, how is the citation of an undocumented conversation with the subject in question any different from someone writing their own uncited vanity page? Wait 'til you hear what I make up about myself when you interview me! -- B.S. Lawrence 13:21, 26 January 2012 (EST)

It starts the article and is better than having no references. Second, its an interview of the subject by a professional journalist, thus it's not unlike anything else we publish, and link to as a reference, where we cite information collected in one-on-one interviews. I'd like to think we can be open to documenting in cvillepedia some oral histories/interviews throughout the work to collect information on Charlottesville's 250th anniversary and then set that content up to be fully fact checked and referenced.
