Scottsville Magisterial District

The Scottsville Magisterial District is one of six magisterial districts in Albemarle County. It is named for and located around the town of Scottsville.
Representation
The district is "currently" unrepresented on the Board of Supervisors following the resignation of Christopher J. Dumler. An interim supervisor will be appointed on July 3 or July 10. [1] A special election will be held on November 5, 2013.
Richard Randolph was appointed to serve as the Planning Commissioner in January 2011. He has applied for the interim position, but will not run for the seat in the special election.
Steve Koleszar is the Albemarle County School Board representative.
