Old Lynchburg Road is a roadway in Charlottesville and Albemarle County currently slated for improvements.

The road's northern terminus is at its intersection with Jefferson Park Avenue Extended next to the Fry's Spring Beach Club. After becoming State Route 631 in Albemarle County[1], the road extends southward to Plank Road in the southern part of the county.

Transportation projects

Old Lynchburg Road will be affected by the County's proposed $12.8 million Fontaine/Sunset Connector project, designed to provide motorists with another artery accessing the road. However, that project is on indefinite hold.
