The North Fork Regional Pump Station is a proposed pair of pump stations and a new "force main" sewer line that will pump sewage from the Hollymead and Piney Mountain designated growth areas to the Moores Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Albemarle County Service Authority plans to replace the aging Camelot Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is at capacity and is nearing the end of its useful life.

The Albemarle County Planning Commission found that the project is compliant with the Albemarle County Comprehensive Plan at its meeting on August 18, 2009.
