McIntire Building

The McIntire Building was built in 1921 as Charlottesville's first municipal library. The funding for the building was donated by philanthropist Paul Goodloe McIntire. Designed by architect Walter Dabney Blair in the Beaux Arts style, the building was renovated by Albemarle Charlottesville Historical Society in 1993 before they moved into the building in 1994[1].
