Matthew Haas

Matthew Haas is Assistant Superintendent for Organizational & HR Leadership for Albemarle County Public Schools[1]

The Albemarle County School Board appointed Haas as the division's next superintendent, effective July 1, 2018. He will succeed outgoing superintendent Pam Moran.[2]

Haas was principal at Albemarle High School from 2004 to 2009. He served as an executive director and an assistant superintendent in the division’s central office before becoming deputy superintendent in 2015.[3]
