John Grisham is a writer who lives near Charlottesville. An attorney and former Congressman from Mississippi, Grishman is the author of over 20 novels[1]. Grisham also serves as judge for The Hook's annual short story contest[2].

Philanthropy

Locally, Grisham has supported efforts such as the Local Food Hub[3].

Election involvement

In 2013, Grisham donated $7,500 to the campaign of Liz Palmer for Supervisor. [4]
