The Jefferson Area Children's Health Improvement Program is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health of children under the age of 7, targeting low-income families to ensure they have insurance. The executive director is Jon Nafziger[1].

The organization launched a neighborhood outreach project in 2017 for the communities of Friendship Court, Westhaven and other low-income areas. [2]

The organization is a participant in the 2010 Design Marathon sponsored by the Charlottesville Community Design Center. [citation needed]
