Escafe was a restaurant in Charlottesville that operated on the the Downtown Mall and until moving in in early 2012 at a new space on Water Street. [1]

The final owner was Todd Howard, who purchased the restaurant in 2008. The restaurant originally opened in 1995.

The building on Water Street was demolished in 2018 to make away for a new "innovation district" anchored by the CODE Building. [2]
