ecoREMOD is a city-owned sustainable redevelopment project located at 608 Ridge Street in Charlottesville. The 1920's-era historic home is receiving a total retrofit of heating and plumbing systems in order to attain "zero net energy use. [1]"

Donations and partnerships

  • Dominion Virginia Power has donated $10,000 to assist with the replacement of a new roof to support a new solar panel system[2]. Dominion is also donating a battery backup and solar-powered water system[3]
  • Alloy Architecture & Construction is serving as the general contractor [3]
