Charlottesville's Department of Public Works consists of eight divisions:

Administration

The current director of the Department of Public Works is Judith Mueller.

Street repair and maintenance

As of June 2010, there are 155.54 street miles under the jurisdiction of Charlottesville's public works division^[1].
