what is going on here?

I am making this up as I go along but would like to try to add this functionality over time.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Seantubbs (talkcontribs)

This whole thing makes no sense to me (the pages collected here, not just the category.) If you have a page for the year, fine, if you have a page for each day, fine. By having both you have doubled the amount of work you have to do for each entry, copying the same thing on both pages. You don't have the labor capacity or the news volume to do this. It would be great to have the idea behind the current events portal. Days of the year on wikipedia. The pages contained for each day for all years are way too much overkill for now. -- B.S. I'm willing to put the labor in. I am finding this is one the most useful functions to connect me to the recent past. It takes less than a minute to copy the edit to both pages. Over time, this will build a lot of information that will be useful to me. A recent example is the ninth anniversary of the transfer of the Landmark to Dewberry. That's an interesting milestone. --Seantubbs (talk) 11:01, 2 July 2021 (EDT)
