Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club is an organization that provides young people with programs to help them address issues facing today's youth. They have a facility at Buford Middle School. A lease for that facility was approved on August 4, 2003. [1]

Albemarle facility

Planning is underway for a 35,000 square foot facility near Jack Jouett Middle School and Greer Elementary School. The facility is being designed by the firm Grimm and Parker. The club will lease the land at $1 a year for forty years. The new facility is supposed to be open in 2021. Major donors include Merrill and Jaffray Woodriff. [2]
