Alice J. Raucher
Alice J. Raucher is the incoming architect of the University of Virginia. She will take office on September 14, 2015.
Before being appointed to the UVa post, Raucher served for eight years as senior architect and major projects at Yale University’s Office of Facilities, Planning, Construction and Renovation. Before that, he worked for several New York City architectural firms.
Raucher has taught at the Syracuse University School of Architecture and the New York Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Design.
She holds a a bachelor’s degree in studio art/art history from Queens College of the City University of New York and her Master of Architecture degree from the Syracuse University School of Architecture.
