Three Notch'd Brewing Company is a brewery that opened up in 2013 in the former Monticello Dairy Building. They have since expanded to a facility in the Ix Art Park as well as locations across Virginia including Nelson County.

New restaurant

The company opened a new facility at the Ix Art Park in 2017 that tripled brewing capacity and includes a restaurant with a German-style beer garden. The indoor space at the restaurant is 5,000 square feet and the beer garden outside will be 6,000 square feet. [1] [citation needed]

In June 2017, Governor Terry McAuliffe announced that Three Notch’d had been awarded a $50,000 Agriculture and Forestry Industries Development (AFID) Facility Grant, which would be matched by Charlottesville’s Economic Development Authority. [2]

Nelson County location

The company announced in March 2022 that it had purchased the 13 acre Nellysford property of the former Wild Wolf Brewery on Route 151 in Nelson County. They will also use the cite as a distillery. [3] [4]
