Daniel Bluestone is Professor of Architectural History and the Director of the Historic Preservation Program at the UVA School of Architecture and was the co-leader of the winning design team[citation needed] in the Belmont Bridge Design Competition. Bluestone is also an ardent opponent of the Meadowcreek Parkway and is a member of the Coalition to Preserve McIntire Park. He received a BA from Harvard College in 1975, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1984. [1]
