Bike Charlottesville is an advocacy group that promotes safe cycling for transportation, recreation and sport. The group, founded in 2010, is a coalition of similar organizations.

The organization is calling on citizens to review and comment on Virginia's draft State Bicycle Plan[1].

2010 Bike Ballot

In 2010, Bike Charlottesville partnered with the Alliance for Community Choice in Transportation to survey cyclists in the community to find out their priorities for infrastructure development. With 582 responses, 82% said they wanted Charlottesville and Albemarle County to develop more bike lanes and dedicated trails[2].
