Ned Michie was a member of the Charlottesville School Board. Michie was appointed to the School Board in 2004 by Charlottesville City Council prior to the move to an elected School Board. He won his first election in 2006. He ran unopposed in the 2013 election. [1] Michie decided not to run again in 2017. [2]
Michie was appointed in late February 2019 to serve out the rest of the term vacated by Amy Laufer. He will not seek election to the seat. [3]
