Biography

John Vance Little was born on April 10, 1951 in Spartansburg, South Carolina and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating from Washington and Lee University in 1973, he attended the University of Virginia School of Law and earned his J.D. in 1976. He then went to work for MichieHamlett and practiced real estate and business law. He was editor and coauthor of Contract Law in Virginia. [1]

Specifically, he practiced primarily in the areas of business law and commercial real estate law, including the formation and operation of business entities, business and real estate finance, banking, real estate development, and business and commercial real estate transactions. Little has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America under the categories of both corporate law and real estate law.

Little died on July 27, 2019.
